From the Earth,

for your health

As the mother of a 5-year-old boy, I have spent more time in nature over the past 5 years than at any other point in my life. I am well aware that excessive media exposure and stimulating videos have a negative impact on our child. So I made an effort to spend as much time as possible in nature. Over time, as I experienced the comfort, healing, and indescribable energy that nature provides, I began to notice the elements that make up nature more and more—trees, flowers, stones, soil, and bugs (which my son loves the most). I started to feel grateful for these seemingly insignificant things. Although small and trivial, each one was fulfilling its role. My son occasionally (actually quite frequently) brought these natural elements home. At first, I scolded him, saying, "nature belongs in nature," but over time, I started thinking “if the functions of each natural element could be realized indoors, it would be beneficial to people's health.” Bringing various elements of nature into our home marked the beginning of IKKI (ikki means “moss” in Korean)

Moss has possibly the best air cleaning and oxygenating capabilities of any plant, so it is one of nature's best air filters, helping to naturally clean the air we breathe. Moss has the natural ability to absorb and metabolize fine dust, converting particles into natural and harmless biomass.

Charcoal can remove toxins and odors from the air. The Centers for Disease Control considers activated charcoal to be an excellent material for controlling and removing air pollution both indoors and outdoors.

Air plants can help remove airborne toxins and odors, filter carbon dioxide, and lower dust and mold in the air. And they can also improve indoor humidity.
